🚀 What’s New This Week
🛍️ Product segmentation: see what your ads are actually selling
Your Sales page shows which campaigns drive revenue. But what happens when you want to know which products they're selling?
A campaign can have strong ROAS without selling the products you intended to promote. If you're launching something new, pushing a specific collection, or trying to move inventory, you need to know what's actually selling.
Product segmentation adds that missing context. Group products based on how you think about your catalog, then see attributed revenue, orders, ROAS, and CAC for each group directly in your Sales page.
Group products your way
By product title or ID. Combine 10 variants of the same shoe into one group, or roll the same product across your US, CA, and UK stores into a single row.
By Shopify catalog fields. Create groups using Product Type, Category, Tag, or Collection. No manual mapping required.
Across mixed carts. When an order includes products from multiple groups, revenue is split based on each item's price and quantity, so each group gets its fair share of credit.
Get ahead of BFCM
Set up your product groups now, and they'll automatically apply to all historical data. That means you can analyze product-level performance from last year's BFCM before this year's rush starts.
A couple of things to know
Product segmentation is still in beta. Ask your Media Strategist to enable it for your account.
Product group columns work with Clicks Only and most other attribution models. C+DV isn't supported yet.

👉 Touchpoint metrics now update throughout the day
Last week we moved a big set of metrics off the once-a-day schedule. Touchpoints, visitors, customer-based CAC, time to purchase, landing pages (beta), and order and product segments now refresh on the same schedule as the rest of your dashboard.
That means during BFCM you can see whether a promo is reaching new customers while it’s still running, not the next morning. Watch your share of new visitors as spend climbs, compare Cost per Visitor with CAC to find where performance is slipping, and track segment ROAS before you scale.
Go to Sales → Customize Table to add them.
🔑 API keys you can actually manage
You can now grant and revoke API keys yourself, give them names, search by name, and check a log of every change. No more guessing which key belongs to which tool. Watch the demo here.

🔥 Hot tip: customer reactivation
Northbeam counts a returning customer as “reactivated” if they come back after 60 days. That default is adjustable in Settings. Set it to match your real buying cycle so your reactivated numbers mean something.
