🚀 What’s New This Week

🔄 Your touchpoint metrics now update throughout the day.

Until now, a big chunk of your Northbeam metrics updated once a day. You could see spend and attributed revenue move all day, but the metrics that explain who that spend was reaching stayed stuck on yesterday.

That’s changed. Touchpoint metrics now refresh on the same schedule as the rest of your dashboard, giving you a more current view of performance.

What’s included:

  • Touchpoints: Total and attributed touchpoints, touchpoints per order, and eligible order counts

  • Visitors: Total and unique visitors, new vs. returning visitors, and revisit rates

  • Visitor efficiency: Cost per Visitor, Revenue per Visitor, and % New Visitors

  • Customers: New, active, and reactivated customers, customer-based CAC, 90- and 180-day repurchase rates, and orders per new customer

  • Purchase timing: Median Time to Purchase and Median Time Between Purchases

  • Order and product segments: Segmented revenue, orders, AOV, ROAS, CAC, and conversion rates

  • Landing pages (beta): Page-level visits, visitors, attributed revenue, and orders

New and returning variants are included wherever supported. Matching columns in performance exports also update on the regular cadence.

Put it to work this BFCM

With BFCM approaching, you need to know how campaigns are performing while there’s still time to adjust them. More current touchpoint metrics help you:

  • Spot changes in prospecting quality. If spend is climbing but your share of new visitors is falling, you can investigate before the day is over.

  • Understand where performance is breaking down. Compare Cost per Visitor with CAC to see whether you're paying more to bring people in or struggling to convert them.

  • Track segment performance while promotions run. See how ROAS and CAC vary across order and product segments without waiting for the next day’s update.

Your performance data should be as current as the decisions you’re making with it. To get started, go to Sales→Customize Table and select the metrics you want to track.

🤳 Northbeam, now in your pocket

Last week’s mobile app release puts more of Northbeam on your phone:

  • AI assistant: ask questions about your performance and get answers right in the app

  • Sales page: check revenue and channel performance wherever you are

  • Metrics explorer: go beyond the summary view into the numbers you actually manage to

  • Dark mode: for checking ROAS at 11pm on Cyber Monday 🌙

With this week’s metric refresh update, what you see on mobile is fresher too.

📈 Optimization Corner

Hot tip: watch Median Time to Purchase before you judge your BFCM prospecting

If your new-customer campaigns look weak in the first few days, check Median Time to Purchase before you cut them.

If buyers usually take a week or more to convert, early ROAS on top-of-funnel spend will look worse than it really is. Set your expectations by how long your customers actually take to buy, not by the platform’s default window.
